Detention, Court Detention, 72 Hour Hold, Waiting & Voluntary Placement

- Male or female, ages 10-18.
- Programmed in a living unit with same sex peer group.
- Attend school daily for minimum 5 hours, year-long.
- Complete daily job responsibilities.
- Participate in groups: educational, recreational, behavioral.
- Bible study, church service (voluntary).
Weekend Program

Two-day/48-hour program for males and females ages 12-18. Weekend program generally runs 7:00 pm Friday to 6:00 pm Sunday but may be scheduled at other periods of the week.
- Objective - short-term (low dose) consequence for residents to focus on individual risk factors relating to a pattern of negative choices or victimizing behavior. Focus is coordinated with the referring case manager.
- Referring agents will coordinate specific time of admission and discharge. Confirm admission and discharge times with facility staff if you have questions. Entering or exiting earlier or later than scheduled is not allowed.
- Please accompany your child into the facility to provide critical admission information, medication and insurance information. Weekend program residents do not need to their own clothing as they are provided facility clothing.
10/5 Program

- Short term program for males or females, ages 10-18.
- Committed to program for 10 days, but may complete in 5 days based on positive behavior and successful completion.
- Attend school daily.
- Youth completes daily school work, community service projects & assignments (identified by Probation Officer and primary counselor).
- Youth bring school work from home school to complete.
Short Term Program (30/15, 60/30, 90/60 & 120/90 Day)

- Short term program for males or females, ages 10-18.
- Youth placed in the program for the maximum number of days but may complete in the minimum number of days based on positive behavior and successful completion of individualized program contract.
- Attend school daily.
- Attend group - present issues leading to placement.
- Youth are part of a peer group and wear their own clothing (see Parent Information).
28 Day Assessment Program

- For males and females, ages 12-18, with referral from Corrections or Social Services
- Assessments include: behavioral (completed by NSP program staff), educational (completed by Pines School staff) and a psychological evaluation (completed by licensed psychologist)
- Staffing to review assessments and recommendations at conclusion of program
- Insurance company is billed for psychological evaluation
- One youth starts every Thursday (there may be a wait to start)
- Coordinated by ACJC Mental Health Coordinator.
45 Day Psychosexual Evaluation Program

- For males and females, ages 12-18, with referral from Corrections or Social Services
- Psychosexual evaluation completed by licensed psychologist, completed and returned to referring agent within 45 days of referral/placement
- Referring county is billed for psychosexual evaluation ($1,100-$1,300)
- Youth can start at anytime
- Coordinated by ACJC Mental Health Coordinator
Long Term Group Residential

- For females, ages 12-18, with referral from Corrections or Social Services.
- Average length of stay is 4-6 months for Corrections, 3-5 months for Social Services.
- Individualized case plan, developed by the time of initial staffing, after first 30 days
- Psychological testing.
- Group & individual therapy with contract therapist from Family Innovations.
- Parent-teen groups weekly.
- Family counseling.
- Recreation.
- Transition planning.
- Aftercare services.
Outpatient Sex Specific Program

- For males ages 10-17, with referral from Corrections or Social Services.
- Four to six adolescents per group.
- Adolescents must have completed a psycho-sexual evaluation and have been recommended to complete outpatient sex offender program.
- Weekly individual and group therapy.
- Families are strongly encouraged to participate in family therapy.
- Individualized assignments.
- Full disclosure polygraph examination.
