Administration
The Administration division provides many services for the Sheriff's Office including, but not limited to human resource management, information management, financial management, contracts and grants, emergency management and fleet management.

Criminal Investigations
The Criminal Investigative Division provides investigative services to all Anoka County police agencies and is responsible for most felony-level investigations of crimes occurring in Sheriff's Office patrol areas and felony cases not assumed by local police departments.

Justice Services/Civil Process
The Justice Services Division is a diverse unit responsible for many law enforcement services including civil process, courthouse security, prisoner transport, records and data entry.

Forensic Services
It is the mission of the Midwest Regional Forensic Laboratory to provide superior forensic science services and technical support to our local community of law enforcement agencies while utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, in addition to presenting objective, unbiased conclusions to the judicial system.

Jail/Warrants
The Anoka County Jail is a 238-bed facility housing primarily non-sentenced inmates in a combination of direct supervision and remote supervision housing units. The Jail Division also includes the Warrants Unit which issues and/or clears nearly 11,000 warrants per year.

Patrol
The primary job of the patrol deputy is to respond to citizen requests for service for events such as accidents, domestic and neighborhood disputes and traffic complaints. Deputies also initiate investigative activity into all crimes occurring within the patrol area. The division also provides K-9 services and has officers working in local schools as resource officers.
