Support for New Businesses

Anoka County supports new and expanding businesses through:

  • Our participation in Greater MSP, an organization that aims to stimulate economic growth throughout the region;
  • The Open to Business program, which provides free one-on-one counseling with a business advisor for new and expanding businesses;
  • And the Economic Gardening program, which uses a “grow from within” strategy to help existing companies flourish.

“Our partnership with Greater MSP has helped bring nearly 1,000 new jobs and necessary business expansion to Anoka County.” Rhonda Sivarajah, Chair, Anoka County Board.

From Anoka County News, Vol 1-2016.
