Budget Timeline
Developing, reviewing and modifying the County’s budget is a several-month process that requires input and creativity from both County staff and Commissioners.
June-August: Anoka County leaders estimate the need and cost for programs and services.
August-September: Anoka County residents receive notice of the property tax changes and are invited to
attend a public meeting in December.
November: Anoka County residents receive notice of the property tax changes and are invited to attend a public meeting in December.

December: The Board of Commissioners approve the final Budget, Levy and Capital Improvement Plan.
