Corridor Design History
Over the past decade, significant progress has been made along the U.S. Highway 10 corridor, which has been a major safety and mobility concern for years. In 2014, the Highway 10 Access Planning Study was completed, assessing corridor issues and identifying high-benefit, fiscally responsible solutions. The City of Ramsey, in partnership with Anoka County and MnDOT, continued momentum built in the 2014 study with the Ramsey Gateway Project.
Concluding in 2019, the Ramsey Gateway Project developed a locally supported vision for Highway 10, centered on improvement options at Ramsey Boulevard and Sunfish Lake Boulevard. This new project moves forward with the preliminary and final design to finalize the vision for the interchanges at both Ramsey and Sunfish Lake Boulevard.
