Safe at Home is a program administered by the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State. The program is designed to help people who fear for their safety maintain a confidential address.
Participants are assigned a P.O. Box address to use as their legal address. All public and private entities must accept the assigned P.O. Box as the participant's legal address and cannot require the participant to disclose their real address. Participants are issued a Safe at Home card with their assigned P.O. Box address.
