Mississippi Street (CSAH 6) at Old Central Avenue (CSAH 35) - Mini- Roundabout

Project Summary

Project Background/Description
Anoka County, in partnership with the City of Fridley, is developing plans for the construction of a mini-roundabout at the intersection of Mississippi Street (CSAH 6) and Old Central Avenue (CSAH 35). In 2022, Anoka County applied for and received Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) funding to construct a mini-roundabout at this intersection. This project will improve safety and mobility for all road users at the intersection, including ADA-compliant, pedestrian ramp accommodations. The project is in the early design phase, with anticipated construction in 2024.
