Chief Prosecutor
County Attorney Brad Johnson was sworn in as the Anoka County Attorney on January 3, 2023.
Prior to taking office, Brad served the City of Coon Rapids for two terms as a city council member, and he has over 24 years of experience as an accomplished felony prosecutor, child protection lawyer, and trial lawyer. He’s also a member of the Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council, member of the Anoka County Fire Protection Council, and he served as manager on the Coon Creek Watershed District Board of Managers.
