Anoka County Child Care Licensing presents Supervising for Safety training. This class introduces basic best practices related to health, wellness and safety on a program-wide level. Areas of focus include: safe sleep, emergency preparedness, prevention of and responding to illness and injury, emergency response and evacuation, supervision of teens/adults in the program, indoor/outdoor supervision, recognizing signs of child abuse and neglect, and supervising while interacting.
This training meets the Pre-Service Training requirement for Family Child Care. Core Competency VI- Health, Safety, and Nutrition CDA1, Safe, Healthy Learning Environment
