This Anoka County Transit tag line welcomes residents to ask for assistance in getting around the County.  Finding and using available transportation options can be overwhelming.   Let us answer your questions and help you get to a medical appointment, the grocery store or various other destinations, using options you may not be aware of.    

How We Can Help

  • Phone Consultation
    • Explain how to use transit, and what your specific route would involve 
  • Classroom Training
    • An in-person or virtual presentation, explaining the different transit options in the Anoka County area.
    • An in-person Lunch & Learn event
  • In-Person Training
    • An in-person, one-on-one training, where we would demonstrate how to use public transit

Modes of Transportation

  • Transit Link & Metro Mobility
    • Learn more about these accessible buses that can pick up you or your group for a grocery or any other kind of run.
  • Medlink
    • Learn how senior citizens (age 60+), Veterans, or Anoka County clients can get to medical or social service appointments.
  • Regular Route Bus
    • Learn about buses that run on a regular schedule and route, that can take you to destinations on that route or then transfer to another route.  
    • Learn about discount fares, i.e., seniors travel for $1.00 during non-rush hours; if your return is within 2.5 hours, your return trip is FREE!
  • Northstar Commuter Rail
    • Learn about the commuter rail, getting from Big Lake to downtown Minneapolis.
