Project Summary

Project Background / Description
This project consists of replacing the timber bridge on Bridgestone Road over Seelye Brook. Anoka County is working in partnership with the City of St. Francis.

Project Updates

As of April 1, 2026
A single‑span prestressed concrete beam bridge has been selected as the bridge type; preliminary bridge plans were received at the end of February. A Phase 1a archaeological review has revealed concerns regarding a potential Indian burial mound in the project vicinity which will need further investigation. The 60% plans are expected in May.
