Kids Fishing Event at Lake George in Oak Grove
This event is held the first Friday in August.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office partners with Fishing for Life to host a Kid’s Fishing day and tournament. Children are paired up with a Fishing Guide and taken out in a boat. Trophies are given for the largest Bass, Northern, Pan Fish, and more. All equipment, bait, lunch, and entertainment are provided for free. This event is open to children ages 5 to 15.
