Welcome to the project website for the Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 Project.
In spring 2024, Anoka County, in partnership with the City of Ramsey and MnDOT, will begin construction on Ramsey's Highway 10 Gateway Project. This project includes two grade-separated interchanges at Ramsey Boulevard and Sunfish Lake Boulevard that will replace existing signalized intersections. The at-grade BNSF railway crossings on Ramsey Boulevard and Sunfish Lake Boulevard will also be grade-separated. This project is anticipated to conclude in the spring of 2026. Current Lane Closures
Westbound and eastbound Highway 10
Intermittent lane closures in both directions of Highway 10 between Sunfish Lake Boulevard and Armstrong Boulevard through early 2024.
Building demolition will begin the week of December 11 and run through late December at the previous Plant and Things, 13745 Sunfish Lake Blvd., NW in Ramsey. No impacts to Highway 10 are expected.
Current Trail Closures
A section of the Mississippi West Regional Trail is closed near Highway 10 and Ramsey Boulevard. Trail users can use Riverdale Drive to get around the closure through fall 2025.
